FusionDirectory 1.0.6 LTS is released

Just a month after the 1.0.5 release we released FusionDirectory 1.0.6
that correct some bugs captured by users after the 1.0.5 release.

The most important is the correction that make the user button not
appearing in the menu when account expiration was activated.

The rest of the fixes are mainly cleanup as the 1.0.x branch is now our
stable branch with rigorous criteria to let feature in.

The 1.0.6 version is also available in packaging form for various distribution :

FusionDirectory 1.0.5 is released with a lot of interesting news

The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce the release of FusionDirectory 1.0.5.

The version 1.0.5 of FusionDirectory brought you lot of fix from 1.0.4, plus a new serie of plugins and new functionalities.

New plugins :

  • Alias - Manage aliases without a real email account
  • Autofs - Manage automount systems
  • Debconf - Manage debconf profile to install Debian and derivatives
  • Dsa - Manage security account in the DSA branch, mainly used for service who needs to connect to the ldap  servers
  • Freeradius - Manage user accounts and groups for Freeradius
  • Mail - Manage email account without a real mail server connexion
  • Netgroups - Manage nis netgroups for systems
  • Opsi - Manage the OPSI deployment tool
  • Puppet - Basic managment of puppet

Others important news :

  • The whole FusionDirectory configuration is now stored into the ldap server itself and manage by the Configuration plugin inside FusionDirectory
  • Conversion of more than 60% of the code to our simple-plugin framework
  • Added support for crypt/sha-256 and crypt/sha-512
  • Storing sambaLMPassword is now an option to better enhance security

FusionDirectory 1.0.4 is released with a lot of interesting news

The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce the birth of FusionDirectory 1.0.4.

The 1.0.4 release gives you a big amount of fixes, a new Framework "simple-plugin" to create the plugins, a new plugin "Board" and some others fonctionnalities.

New framework :

Simple plugin is the new way to write plugins for FusionDirectory. It is now mandatory and has been used to write Password Recovery and Board plugins.

  • Board - a small dashboard for FusionDirectory.
