FusionDirectory 1.0.5 is released with a lot of interesting news

The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce the release of FusionDirectory 1.0.5.

The version 1.0.5 of FusionDirectory brought you lot of fix from 1.0.4, plus a new serie of plugins and new functionalities.

New plugins

  • Alias – Manage aliases without a real email account
  • Autofs – Manage automount systems
  • Debconf – Manage debconf profile to install Debian and derivatives
  • Dsa – Manage security account in the DSA branch, mainly used for service who needs to connect to the ldap  servers
  • Freeradius – Manage user accounts and groups for Freeradius
  • Mail – Manage email account without a real mail server connexion
  • Netgroups – Manage nis netgroups for systems
  • Opsi – Manage the OPSI deployment tool
  • Puppet – Basic managment of puppet

Others important news

  • The whole FusionDirectory configuration is now stored into the ldap server itself and manage by the Configuration plugin inside FusionDirectory
  • Conversion of more than 60% of the code to our simple-plugin framework
  • Added support for crypt/sha-256 and crypt/sha-512
  • Storing sambaLMPassword is now an option to better enhance security
