The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce FusionDirectory 1.1, our latest major release.
The 1.1 version is a major release.
New Features
- System plugin as been completely rewritten with the simple plugin framework
- Global system management for all system types, phones, server workstations has been rewritten
- Systems can be created from inventory stored by the fusioninventory plugin
- Templates can be used on systems
- Partage from Renater is support as a mail method
- Posix is now a separated plugin
- Argonaut dns plugin has been enhanced and can now manage slaves
- Hook systems has been rewritten to be more efficient
- A tab on systems allow to see what sudo roles are added to a specific system
- User-reminder using ppolicy values
- A new placeholder %today%, has been implemented
- LDAP dump show creation and modification dates
- The “p” modifier can now be used for search and replace (was previously only used to remove spaces)
- Add the ability to hide per plugin menu entry (left menu and homepage) to a user or group
Main Fixes
- The old GOsa² framework for plugin as been completely removed, everything is simple plugin now
- Browser specific hacks have been removed
- fusiondirectory-insert-schemas is based on ldap-schema-manager
Removed plugins
- Kolab plugin was for kolab 2 and no longer pertinent
