The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce FusionDirectory 1.0.10, our new major release
The 1.0.10 version is a major release with important new features, some main fixes and some minors ones
New Features
- Dns Plugin has been completely rewritten and is no longer dependent on systems, you can manage all your dns domains with it. Be it internal or external
- Dns plugin can also manage Bind views and ACLs, this can be automated with the newest version of ldap2zone of the Argonaut project
- A community plugin has been created to manage software communities and projects and will be used by the ow2 consortium
- A subcontracting plugin has been created to help manage people contract information for users, and will be used by bosstek
- A newsletter plugin has been created to manage users newsletter subscriptions and will be used by the ow2 consortium
- HTTP Auth as been added as a connexion mode
- IPv6 is supported in this version
- Fixedbutton themes is now the default theme
Main Fixes
- It’s now possible to have acl assignment on any branch of the ldap tree
- When using Cyrus in Unix hierarchy mode and creating a user and activating mail tab at the same time, the mailbox was not created
- Groups containing unknown type objects or deleted objects where not appearing
- Fusiondirectory-setup –migrate-dns has been added to migrate dns from FusionDirectory 1.0.9.x to 1.0.10.x
- Personal plugin now have start/end date, badge number and country
Minor Fixes
- Fields postalAddress (and homepostalAddress) have been corrected to be respectful of the RFC
- A C modifier has been added for counting an array
- Fusiondirectory-setup now see and tell if some uid are duplicated
- FusionDirectory installation tells you if they are duplicated uid
- When debug was activated it can prevent connection in some cases
- Syslog, ldap, ntp fields in systems have been removed
