The FusionDirectory team is happy to announce the release of FusionDirectory 1.0.5.
The version 1.0.5 of FusionDirectory brought you lot of fix from 1.0.4, plus a new serie of plugins and new functionalities.
New plugins
- Alias – Manage aliases without a real email account
- Autofs – Manage automount systems
- Debconf – Manage debconf profile to install Debian and derivatives
- Dsa – Manage security account in the DSA branch, mainly used for service who needs to connect to the ldap servers
- Freeradius – Manage user accounts and groups for Freeradius
- Mail – Manage email account without a real mail server connexion
- Netgroups – Manage nis netgroups for systems
- Opsi – Manage the OPSI deployment tool
- Puppet – Basic managment of puppet

- The whole FusionDirectory configuration is now stored into the ldap server itself and manage by the Configuration plugin inside FusionDirectory
- Conversion of more than 60% of the code to our simple-plugin framework
- Added support for crypt/sha-256 and crypt/sha-512
- Storing sambaLMPassword is now an option to better enhance security
